General Members

Be a team player. Communicate, work together, delegate tasks fairly and equitably, and everything you do should support the mission of your organization as well as St. John's.

Use your meetings to express your views, ideas, and be supportive.

Do not argue over the ownership of ideas. Once you give your ideas to the group, it becomes the property of the group.

Listen carefully and critically to others. Always remember that on almost every question there are several points of view.

Do not monopolize any discussion. Make your points clearly and concisely.

Do not let the discussion get away from you...PARTICIPATE!

It is okay to disagree, so long as you do so constructively. Voice your opinions even if you are in the minority.

Come prepared to the meetings. Bring questions, new business, and comments.
